Keeping Pets Happy When Traveling By Car
In this VetScoop video, Dr. Marty Becker, the creator of Fear Free, talks about all of the stresses that our pets can have when traveling by car – many of which we might not even notice! He shares his tips for creating a better environment for pets when traveling by car.
Dr. Becker says that one of the top minds in veterinary medicine believes our dogs suffer from motion sickness all the time during car rides but we don’t realize it. We all know how bad that queasy feeling in our stomach feels, we certainly don’t want our pets to feel that way.
In this video, Dr. Becker talks about using pheromones, calming music, and even FDA approved products from our veterinarian to help make for better travel situations for our pets.
